Erin Patten, Metaphysical Master in a Millennial Age
Greetings! I am Erin Patten and I’m so so excited to be collaborating with The Soul Synergy Synergistic Healing & Divine Connection. I met the founder, Elizabeth, through a great friend in Houston. It was truly by Divine intervention that we were brought together – two souls living across the country. Through zoom calls and digital communication, our bond and connection has flourished and it is with great gratitude that I now call this Sol Full woman a sister, healer and friend. With her love and support, I have my Self been inspired to develop my own healing services and platform.
I love to share with folks that I grew up in Third Ward, Houston with big dreams to be a self-made creative entrepreneur. I traveled all around the world, worked in fashion, philanthropy and became a serial entrepreneur. But my claim to fame is that I went from Harvard to Healing.For many, graduating from Harvard represents the pinnacle of achievement in academics, career, and frankly, it’s widely assumed that Harvard grads are guaranteed a path of personal and financial success. However, for me, after I graduated from Harvard with a Masters in Business Administration and Public Policy, I walked into a harsh reality confronting addictions, childhood trauma, and generations of emotional baggage. This is where my real education began.
I needed to learn and master the tools not just to cope with my pain, anger and frustrations, but most importantly, I needed these tools to heal my SELF. This journey took me from my tried and true path of digging deeply into my spiritual and Sol Full Self. Much of this work I did in solitude - reading, studying, journaling, and discovering obscure lectures on YouTube. This time alone affirmed that what I was doing was right for me. As I grew along my path it became clear that Metaphysical Psychology was my calling. And I met my Master Teacher Dr. Philip Valentine. I got that chance to sit at his feet and study Metaphysical Psychology at his University of Kemetian Sciences. It was through these studies that I affirmed that I was destined to first heal my SELF, then share this healing journey with the world.
People often ask, what is Metapysics? Well, the word Metaphysics comes from Greek roots and breaking the word down: Meta means above or beyond. And Physics represents the material world, physical world. Together Metaphysics calls us to go beyond or above our physical existence and connect with our divine nature within us and what some call our higher self.
The higher self is what connects us to God, our source of life. So often we lose sight of this aspect of our selves as we are often caught up in day-to-day life. And sis that is okay! So many of us were taught to work hard every day, treat people nicely, be a good wife, mother and coworker. And we do all of that!! Frankly we do it all to a fault. Because at the end of the day we are depleted, tired and unfulfilled.
Well, that stops now! Today we are choosing to do better for our selves. When we do better for our selves, we do better for everyone and everything around us.
